MADI LED Head Light HL4AA: Reliable Hands-Free Lighting for Linemen

When working in low-light conditions, having dependable hands-free lighting can make a major difference. The MADI LED Head Light HL4AA is designed specifically with linemen and utility professionals in mind, providing bright, practical illumination while keeping both hands available for the job. Available from Hi-Line Tool Co., the HL4AA combines a lightweight design with durable construction and multiple lighting settings.

Powerful LED Lighting for Utility Work

The MADI HL4AA delivers 450 lumens of illumination and offers four settings: high, low, spot, and off. This gives workers the flexibility to choose the appropriate amount and type of light for different tasks. The headlight is designed to provide a full view in front without creating distracting backlight for coworkers. MADI’s product information also lists up to 20 hours of runtime, making the HL4AA well suited for extended work periods.

The HL4AA operates using four AA batteries, which are not included. Its lightweight design helps make hands-free lighting more comfortable during long shifts, while the included storage bag provides a convenient way to transport and protect the headlight between jobs.

Built for Linemen and Demanding Conditions

One of the standout features of the MADI LED Head Light is its compatibility with shields. The design allows workers to use the light whether their shield is up or down, helping eliminate the need to carry multiple helmets or repeatedly remove the light. The HL4AA is also rated IP65, providing protection against dust and water exposure for added reliability in demanding work environments.

The headlight includes a fire-retardant strap, wire cover, and four clips, adding practical installation and protection features for professional utility applications. At just 0.8 pounds with listed dimensions of 10 × 6 × 2 inches, it is a compact lighting solution for linemen who need dependable visibility without adding unnecessary bulk.

A Practical Headlight for Professional Work

Whether you’re climbing, performing maintenance, inspecting equipment, or handling utility work after dark, the MADI HL4AA provides bright, hands-free illumination designed around the needs of working professionals. Its multiple lighting modes, IP65-rated construction, shield compatibility, and lightweight design make it a practical addition to a lineman’s gear.
